Dr. Hirsch is an avid bicyclist, passionate reader, and language enthusiast who also enjoys fishing and travel.

Dr. Hirsch’s educational background includes a D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia (1973), followed by a residency and Chief Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Saint Luke’s Hospital Center in New York, NY, from 1973 to 1977 (now Saint Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital). His training also included a residency at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Chester, PA (1973-1974), and prior studies in biology at the University of Bridgeport, Conn. (1967-1968) and the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, where he earned a B.A. from 1963 to 1967.

Dr. Hirsch has extensive experience in private practice, most recently with Profiles OMS in Boca Raton, FL, since 2017, following nearly four decades in his private practice in Coral Springs, FL, from 1979 to 2017.

In academia, Dr. Hirsch served as an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University’s School of Dental Medicine from 1995 to 2001 and as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University’s School of Dentistry from 1973 to 1978. He has also taught biology at The Manlius School in Manlius, NY.

Dr. Hirsch’s professional affiliations include current memberships in the American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Florida Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons. His past memberships include the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Broward County Dental Association, Florida Society of Dental Anesthesia, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
