Dr. Marco Ghignone

Marco Ghignone, MD, MBA, FRCPC, FACP is a graduate of the University of Turin, Torino,Italy, and has completed extensive Clinical and Research post-graduate training at the University of Turin, Torino, Italy, University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, and University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada; he has obtained a Master of Business Administration with specialization in Health Care Administration from the University of Miami, Miami, Florida.

Dr. Ghignone is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, a Fellow of the American College of

Chest Physicians; he is board certified by the ABMS in Anesthesiology, Critical Care  Medicine, Pain Medicine, and Internal Medicine.

He is a former Associate Professor and Director of Cardiovascular Anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas, and former Chair of Anesthesiology Division, Department of Surgery, at JFK North County Hospital (formerly Columbia and West Palm Hospitals).

He has published extensively in cardiopulmonary physiology, neurophysiology and neuropharmacology of stress and pain, as well as Clinical Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Ghignone is currently Clinical Professor, of School of Natural and Health Sciences  Barry University and Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery, Division of Anesthesiology, Nova Southeastern University Health Professions Division, College of Osteopathic Medicine, and President of the Pain and Spine Institute of the Palm Beaches.

He has been practicing Anesthesia and Pain Medicine in West Palm Beach since 1988.
